Laurie Martin is the founder and Chairman of the Chief Executive Council and has spent the past 16 years working with C-level executives both domestically and internationally. Her focus has been primarily in the executive training and development arena where she has extensive market knowledge and competency in the areas of executive coaching, leadership development, career management and cross cultural training.
Laurie began her career at Berlitz, the premier language and cross cultural training organization with more than 400 offices in 70 countries, and by 1996, became the youngest Director in the company’s history. In 1998 Laurie went on to join the Richmond Group, a UK based organization which offers unique C-level industry forums. She was part of the team that launched the concept into the US market and later lead the US business development across 6 other vertical markets. In 2001 Laurie joined Lee Hecht Harrison, a global human capital consulting firm, where she had the pleasure of working with over 1,000 senior executives in the areas of career transition and executive coaching from many of the world’s largest financial services firms such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch. Since Laurie began building CEO groups in 2005, she has met with more than 500 CEOs and is considered a trusted advisor and accomplished at building long standing relationships.
